Political thriller with some action of operative going on a rampage after discovering a conspiracy to commit war.
That is what they say it is about, but it is more of a reflective, mood piece with some leaps of logic to get to the above plot statement.
Some parts are good, but there are too many missing pieces which I am sure the author understood but did not convey to us. It was obvious the writer and director were the same as well.
Cuba Gooding Jr did well in an understated performance and it is always good to see JK Simmons.
Overall below average.
