Biopic of the childhood experiences of John Lennon, takes some liberty with the truth as do the majority of biopics, but a solid film.
Not knowing much about the childhood of Lennon it was very interesting, and I did some side research to fill in more of the picture, a movie that makes you want to learn more about its subject matter has something going for it.
Amazing to see Thomas Sangster the little kid from love Actually and later in an episode of the new Doctor Who as Paul McCartney, and he did a good job too.
Very well made, and very interesting. I wonder if they would do a movie about his later life with the Beatles.
This was part of the thirty eight movies on new release at Video Ezy in April and now I have seen 29.
My rating = 7/10.
