Critics sometimes say that x actor did not seem interested in his performance, or Y actor telephoned his performance in, well never were these sentiments so true than in this movie for actor Ben Kingsley.
This was a very poorly directed movie, from a director with not many fans, Uwe Boll.
With such a big cast (Kingsley, Michael Madsen, Michelle Rodriguez, Meat Loaf, Billy Zane, and Geraldine Chaplin) and material that could be interesting if in the right hands, a tale of a half human half vampire in the eighteenth century, but due to a poor script and even poorer direction the movie went nowhere.
Kinglsey obviously saw this and his performance showed he no longer cared, the other cast members were not far behind.
A major disappointment for many careers.
Ben Kingsley = 24/54.
Michelle Rodriguez = 08/13.
Meat Loaf Aday = 07/38.
My rating = 3/10.
