The story behind the Woodstock music festival, is a very finely crafted movie by director Ang Lee.
It creates the time and the ambiance of what you would expect from the Woodstock festival, and has some nice character drama as well.
The cast is a mixture of newcomers and old hands, with Emile Hirsch and Liev Schrieber stealing the scenes they were in.
Jonathon Groff, in his movie debut was very good, and could be someone to look out for. Eugene Levy for once gave an understated performance and did not ham it up, although at times the temptation seemed to be there.
Overall a very well made movie, from a very fine director.
Emile Hirsch = 7/12.
Kevin Chamberlain = 6/11.
Jonathon Groff = 1/1.
My rating = 8/10.
