Also known as born to the West this is another early John Wayne western in his "Pre-Stagecoach" 'B' movie era.
The basic story is about two drifters/con artists one of them Wayne being used to take cattle, and Wayne wanting to settle down to win the obligatory girl.
Wayne's character does the right thing, but then gets caught up in a poker game and outwitted by card sharks.
It all goes well in the end, as you can imagine, and Wayne's character redeems himself with life saving antics.
The movie is OK, but the story could have been fleshed out more, and it felt rushed at the end. It was average, but with just another twenty minutes it could have been much more.
