The final movie performance from Heath Ledger before his tragic death is the ultimate drawing card for this movie, which is Gilliam going berserk with his imagination.
An extraordinary movie, imagination wise, it is a movie which in other hands could have been abysmal, and at times it sails close to the wind, it is lifted by the sense of imagination Gilliam has and by the acting performances of Christopher Plummer, heath Ledger, and the 'guest' roles of heath's mates finishing his role for him, Depp, Law and Farrell.
The plot? You really need to watch the movie, and going into it just knowing it is a feast of imaginative ideas is the best way to approach it.
A good solid movie, which sadly signals the end of Heath's movie career.
