Macaulay Culkin payed against type here in battle of two boys as evil son faces good cousin in this average thriller.
The young actors, Elijah Wood's eighth movie and Macauley Culkin's ninth, did very well, and there is a couple ,of other Culkin kids present in small roles.
The movie overall was quite predictable and really only blind parenting could avoid to see how evil that kid was, although having said that blind parenting seems to be more of an art form these days.
