When the best part of a movie is the song playing in the end credits, you know there are problems with the quality of the movie.
Black Dog is a Patrick Swayze 'vehicle' and it does involve a 'vehicle' - he is driving a truck load full of illegal weapons in this good guys vs bad guys movie.
Swayze is the good guy in this and amongst the bad guys is the bat out of Hell himself Meat Loaf Aday.
One highlight in the movie is the evergreen actor Stephen Tobolowsky who just has that charisma every time, it seems. (Although part of you when you seem always wants to say You remember me Ned, Ned Ryerson!)
Overall a very poor movie, with some nice truck driving scenes, and plenty of explosions to keep those who like them entertained. For me that is just not enough!
Meat Loaf Aday = 08/38.
Patrick Swayze = 11/32.
Stephen Tobolowsky = 30/80.
My rating = 4/10.
