The biggest problem with this movie is it is just a bit on the boring side, well actually more than a bit.
it is aloof and uninvolving which is a tragedy when the source material is so compelling.
It was a very disappointing movie, and whilst acted well by the likes of Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer, it was a pretty forgettable affair.
Below average for this viewer.
