A spaghetti western like film from the Italian director Sergio Leone, and like most of Leone's films it goes on too long for my taste.
the leads are very good, Rod Steiger and James Coburn in tale of Irish revolutionary and Mexican bandit being drawn into Mexican revolution, and has some very good points, but it just feels like it goes for ever, and even longer than its one hundred and fifty seven minutes.
Some people really like it, and I thought the first act was the strongest point of the movie, as well as the final scenes, but overall for me - average.
Rod Steiger = 12/90.
