Another movie of which I knew nothing about, but hired on the weak strength that it was a new release at Video Ezy in April 2010.
The movie itself is a solid melodrama of young woman (Robin Wright Penn) moving to a retirement village with older husband (Alan Arkin) and reflecting on her life, finding herself heading towards a quiet nervous breakdown.
A nice supporting cast of Winona Ryder, Maria Bello, Mike Binder, Zoe Kazan, Julianne Moore and in his most impressive performance in many years Keanu Reeves.
The movie is quiet, contemplative and takes it time to get to its somewhat inevitable conclusion.
A solid movie, nothing sensational but enough to give you something to enjoy and mull over.
