The cover of this DVD promised a taut tense thriller, which was three lies in three words, it wasn't taut, it wasn't tense and it was not particularly thrilling.
Johnny Depp stars in this thriller about a man terrorised by a stranger (John Turturro) who accuses him of plagiarising his work. There is complications with an es-wife (Maria Bello) and her new partner (Timothy Hutton) of course not everything is as it seems, but that becomes obvious fairly quickly and there is not much spark in this drawn out one note piece.
For me, quite a dull piece lifted slightly by the actors.
Johnny Depp = 32/38.
Maria Bello = 11/26.
My rating = 4/10.
