Shrink. 2009. USA.

It is a little hard what to make of this one. Kevin Spacey features as a pot smoking psychiatrist to the stars, a man going through his own grief whilst trying to spruik his book on being happy.

It features a range of characters from a movie guy to a guy trying to write a script a washed up actress and a school student who is sent to Spacey's character.

Robin Williams turns up in a small role as one of Spacey's patients and Robert loggia turns up as his doctor father.

There were some decent ideas here, but for me ultimately it was a melancholic piece which did not go anywhere.

Not a failure, but not great, average.

Kevin Spacey = 23/38.

Robin Williams = 37/57.

My rating = 6 out of 10.
