Animated tale of monsters fighting aliens. Features amongst others the voice of Reese Witherspoon as ordinary girl who grows to gigantic proportions.
Some analogous content towards either locking the different away or how we react to people who are different.
Humour interspersed in the story, some funny, some forced.
The plot was nothing too taxing, proving again if its classified as a kids movie Hollywood will take the opportunity to dumb it down another level. It would be good to see a movie where kids are treated with more respect one day.
Overall slightly below average.
