Known as Town Creek in the USA this is modern stylised horror from director Joel Schumacher, who has previously directed Flatliners, Dying Young, The Client, and a couple of Batman films, including the horrible Batman & Robin.
Film starred no-one I really knew although one of them Dominic Purcell is known for a leading role in the series Prison Break, which i have not seen.
The story is around the occult and Hitler sending people out to find Rune stones back in the 30's to seek immortality and goes from there to a modern setting.
It is a simple story and the look of the opening sequence is very effective, after that though it descends into quite a dull movie with lots of movie blood being spilled and quite a lot of non-sensical rules of how it all works.
It actually felt like one of those games you played as as child where you kept adding rules as you went along.
Anyway, it also ends with an obvious set up for a sequel and a franchise.
