John Wayne and Maureen O'hara star in this standard cowboys and indians feature.
Looks great in beautifully done black and white, but the story itself is a bit slow and does not have enough meat on its bones to engage you fully.
Ben Johnson as Trooper Tyree is very good but the standout for me was Victor McLaglen as the Sergeant Major.
Certainly not the best movie ever, but far from the worst, an average western movie from a different era.
