Somewhat harrowing, depressing and en entirely predictable journey of the aftermath of a hit and run accident.
The story is lifted by exceptional acting by Joaquin Phoenix, Jennifer Connelly and Mark Ruffalo.
It is well made, but I suspect will not be widely viewed as the material is not one which really seeks to entertain.
On the whole he movie is good but bleak.
Jennifer Connelly = 21/30.
Mira Sorvino = 5/29.
Mark Ruffalo = 14/38.
Joaquin Phoenix = 20/23.
My rating = 7/10.
