When you want to make a movie adaptation from something which has pre-existing source material, there is always an idea that you should read the source material and use it so that what you make bears some resemblance to the original material.
This is rule number one and this rule is broken by the makers of this rubbish movie.
Stallone is miscast as Dredd and the whole story reeks of Hollywood thinking if we put more explosions in the movie it will be better.
The choice of Rob Schneider was the antithesis of inspired and was a major liability to the movie.
All up a very weak movie.
